HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAY!!!!!

As was pointed out in another thread, that day we first met in Sacramento in 2005 was an epic moment! Thank goodness I did my research once I decided to go at the last minute (thinking it would be my only Eagles show - HA!) and found out that the member named "Ive always been a dreamer," who seemed pretty cool, would be going to the concert. Why not contact her and see if she would be able to meet up, perhaps share a hotel room? One of the best decisions I ever made. ;)

My reliable concert buddy and the person I've talked to on the phone more than anyone else in my life, lol, here's to you!

Wow! Thank you all so much for all of the sweet b/d wishes and gorgeous eye candy. They actually made me teary-eyed. You all are great and I cherish the friendships I have made on this board, both real and virtual. :thumbsup:

I had a very good birthday. My family took me out to lunch and then we went to see my adorable little niece in her cheering competition (they placed 1st in one event and 2nd place in the other). The official family celebration of my birthday is always done on Thanksgiving Day though - birthday cake and ice cream instead of pumpkin pie each year.

I am so sorry I did not get a chance to wish you Happy Birthday on your actual special day. Back to back Eagles concerts can make for very busy days and I know you have experienced that. I have loved getting to know you and I will always treasure our trip to Graceland and the other sites we did in Memphis with Soda. You are a very special lady. Kinda combination of Melanie & Scarlett. Sweet like Melanie & tough as nails like Scarlett. :wink:
