I'm quite tempted by the Liverpool show. Close-ish to home and there were a few decent looking seats left about a week ago for roughly £80~ (on the ground but a fair way back). Like GAN says, might be the last time ever!

I was in Liverpool in 87 when we were staying with my aunt in Chester. At the time I had to bring my brother to Goodison Park as he was (and still is) an Everton fan!

If anyone can help, on the map provided on Ticketmaster for this, is BL3 the red bit numbered 3?

Semi-urgent question guys - would you recommend either a seat on the lower tier which offers a semi-side profile only view of the stage or one about half way back on the lower tier, which is further away but offers a full-front view?

It's hard to decide. I sat in the lower tier 5 or 6 rows up on the side of the stage for a Bob Seger show and he came over to that side several times and sang and also exited the stage a couple times right beside me, so I got a great view of him then. But if you need to see the whole band, that might not be as good for you.

My ticket apparently came for this yesterday [Saturday]. Hotel booked. All systems go :D

A place called the Podworks. It was £20~ for one night, and is both equidistant to the arena to watch to show, and the railway station so I can leave as quickly as possible on Friday ;)

Think we are in a Holiday inn. It was about €100 between us both. Think it includes breakfast too. It's in the Albert Docks. I have a hotel for London too. It's as well. They are now totally booked out or very expensive for Monday night.

Yeah, I had a look at that one too. Holiday Inn does include breakfast I think - they never used to check you in for it so if you were sneaky you could wonder in off the streets and get one yourself!

Looked at a seating plan for the arena and if I've got it right then I'm on TBS's side, and 3/8 of the way back and probably about half way down the tier. Can't wait :D
