Ralph Waite who played on The Waltons has passed away. I think it said he was 85 years old.
I liked him on NCIS and Bones.

Me too, Brooke. Of course, it was based here in Virginia so I was required to love it! :wink: :grin:

My heart goes out to his loved ones at this sad time. I did love Ralph as Papa Walton, and he was a gifted actor in the many other roles he played as well.

He played someone's Grandfather on Bones. Can't remember who they said.

Huge fan of Ralph Waite. The main reason I started watching the Walton's every week. Will also miss him on NCIS.

Can't believe this hasn't been on our news. We have a channel that's showing all The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie episodes and we've been watching them religiously as they remind us of our childhood. Very sad. He was great in this and in NCIS.
