The starting bid is already too rich for my blood!

I can't afford it either. However, two VIP tickets cost more than $1500 and that's without the meet'n'greet. I imagine this will go up, though.

There's also a brokerage fee of 25% of the final value that is bid. That makes the starting cost almost $2000. I'd say too the price will go up!

25%?! That's huge!

You'd think since this is for charity, the "brokerage fee" would be waived or at least lessened. That auction house is making a tidy profit off of Joe Walsh's generosity.

That fee should be included in the bid price, if you ask me, or at least put in big bold letters under where you enter the amount. Unless I missed something, you have to scroll quite a bit down on the "Terms and Conditions" to see that little nugget of info. Someone might get a very ugly surprise when they go to check out and see they're going to be paying hundreds of dollars more than they bid.

That is usurious, I would not participate in any form of auction that required a 25% broker fee. Absurd! It's for charity for crying out loud!! I doubt Joe would lend his name and time if he saw the fine print. MV - let him know!

In the past 10 hrs, I bought 2 tickets to this concert and 2 tickets to San Diego. I cashed in miles for airfare figuring I could take 1 quick weekend trip trip and see 2 concerts. I have never been this spontaneous. It feels great! It wasn't hard to convince my sister to join me. I know nothing of the area. Any info, suggestions or feedback would be helpful. Are there any good spots for pre or post concert hanging out?
