Isn't that his Eagles medallion? There's a whole thread somewhere on the medallions that Glyn Johns gave to the original band members.

I'm not really sure what that necklace is. That particular photo is from 1977, during the HC tour. I haven't seen an up close shot of Glenn (or the other 3 guys) with the medallion to see what it looks like. Here are some of the other shots of Glenn during what I am assuming is the same show. To me, it just looks like a gold ring and not an eagle. I think that his chest hair gives that illusion, but I could be wrong.

According to Getty Images, the photo of Glenn and Elton at the table was taken in April 1977 at a party hosted by the band, so it appears you are correct.

In several photos of the band in the '70s, I've noticed the guys were quite fond of ADIDAS sneakers, as in Glenn here. I wonder if they ever had a promo deal with the company, or maybe it was just personal preference. It's one of my favorite sneaker brands, too.

I made the mistake of forgetting the caption that Getty Images had on the photo, but I think that the photo was taken in Holland in 1975. Sadly, this was the only photo of the interview on Getty Images (may have been the only photo taken). I wish that it was in color as well!

To me, it looks like they're eating breakfast because of the coffee pot and the half eaten biscuit on the interviewer's plate.

I love Glenn's laidback, nonchalant pose.

Yes. In the most recent concert photos (2009-now), you can see Glenn wearing tape/gauze (I'm not sure what it is) on his wrists. For example, you can see it on the photo I posted a few days ago.

Whether it's a photograph or not, it's beautiful. I really like that purplish blue background and that kind of sparkle at the bottom. He certainly looks gorgeous there. :inlove: Love that stray hair that's fallen into his face. I'd love to be able to push it back.

Possibly, Soda lol! I usually just sleep in whatever I wore that day, unless it's one of my "nice" outfits. It saves on laundry and I'm lazy. I'd like to know what a certain rockstar wears :twisted:.

Oh shoot - no need for an apology, NMB. It's easy to get confused about this kind of stuff. I have gotten Taylor mixed up with Don's daughter, Annabel before. Both of them have beautiful eyes, and Annabel definitely has her father's gorgeous baby blues.

As far as Otis - I'm pretty certain his eyes are brown, but I couldn't find a picture posted on the board that shows a close enough picture to be able to definitively say. I was thinking that there was a fairly recent close up picture of him taken with a friend at one of the HOTE concerts, but I couldn't find it. In any event, one thing about both Deacon and Otis, they very much have deep set eyes like Glenn.
