Well - I am definitely going to this show since it is only an hour and a half drive for me. I'm still debating on which of the other shows I'll be going to. I'll probably do one VIP package for this leg of the tour and this just may be the one. Anyone want to come to so Virginia in July, just let me know. I'm only 2 hours from D.C., two hours from the beach, and two hours from the mountains and there's more history here for even the biggest history buff to digest - so there really is something for everyone.

(And as an added bonus - Virginia is for Lovers!) :thumbsup:

JPJ was a former UVA alumni who donated the money to build the arena. According to the official site "John Paul Jones Arena is the first facility in the country built by a public university almost entirely from private funds".

Yep - Can't hardly wait - it's going to be a great time!

And BTW - I went to see Fleetwood Mac at this arena last Sunday night (which was a great show). There were already signs all over the arena announcing the Eagles show. On our way out of the arena, they were actually handing out very nice little flyers to promote it. I guess they figured they had a lot of their target audience there, so why not? :wink:

I am getting so excited!! Not only about the concert but I will be in D C for a couple of days and then Virginia for 4 days. That will be my first time ever in that area. Soda, Dreamer and I had a conference call Saturday to finalize the sightseeing agenda. :hilarious:

VA - It's not too late, but we are closing in on 10 days. If there's any way you can make it, carry yourself back to 'ole Virginny, hang out with us girls, and take in concert by a pretty good band. It's still a little too soon to be sure, but all of the weather forecast models are calling for typical Virginia July weather in the low 90's with about a 20 - 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms most days. Life could be worse, for sure! :thumbsup:
