Lemmy Kilmister, bassist, singer, and leader of Motörhead, died today at the age of 70 from cancer. He's also known for being in the band Hawkwind. A freaking legend in the heavy metal world. Gone too soon!

Nikki Sixx's tribute is the greatest I've seen from a celebrity so far:
I’ll miss you buddy and our conversations. You were always a pilar of dignity. RIP
It's amazing that someone mentions "conversations", because Lemmy was actually a human being too and not just a "yeahyeahrockboozechicks" rock god.

That's true. After watch the documentary, Lemmy, I realized that. He seemed like such a great, full of life, guy.

Very sad to lose another rock legend. I wasn't that familiar with his work, but I remember one of my cousins being a huge Motorhead fan back in the 70's or 80's. May he RIP.
