I was reading an article the other day that gave me an idea for this thread. I thought we could have a little fun kicking around some ideas here. I'll start off with one ...

This is great fun. I'll try one for each band member:

Don H: 'The next song we'll play tonight is called I Wish You Peace. I would like to dedicate it to a very good friend of mine, Rupert Murdoch'

Glenn: 'I think it's about time I retired the old plaintiff and credit card song jokes'

Joe: 'There's nothing an acoustic or electric guitar can do that modern studio trickery, computers and auto tune can't do better'

Tim: 'I think everybody knows I'm by the far the most difficult band member to work with'

Don F: 'I've always felt that Hotel California is kind of overrated, in fact I'm not even going to play it on my next tour'

Can't think of a decent one for Randy right now unfortunately, he was the most shy and least outspoken Eagle which makes it trickier to come up with one for him. By contrast, Henley seems to be a particular gold mine fort his thread as he's so opinionated!

Can't think of a decent one for Randy right now unfortunately, he was the most shy and least outspoken Eagle which makes it trickier to come up with one for him.

Randy is sweet and self-effacing, so any Kanye-style hyperbolic bragging would be suitably out of character. “I created the Eagles. Every good idea that Don and Glenn ever had they stole from me.”
