It's very kind of you to post in my birthday thread, especially those of you who came on board after I left and don't really know me.

I haven't been on the board regularly for about 3 years - not for any particular reason - there were just other interests that called to me. But I never forgot the good friends I met here, and I've been able to keep in touch with some of you on FB.

And then we lost Glenn.

I found out from reading Soda's post on Facebook and as I'm sure you all were, I was absolutely stunned. But one of my first thoughts was that I wanted to come here, to The Border, to pay my respects, and that night I did. I've been here ever since.

I don't know how long I'll stay, or how much I'll post. But right now, I want to be around other people who hurt like I do, who can share their feelings, and who can hopefully heal together.

Thanks again for the kind words and great photos. After work Hubby and I went to our favorite Mexican restaurant and I celebrated with a couple of margaritas. Next weekend we will get together with my family for my birthday dinner. Life is good, even if I am getting older than I want to admit. ;)
