ETA: Correction: I didn't see Don here in 2011. I saw him at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa. Oops! But hey, it was 5 years ago - forgive my fuzzy memory.

Its almost on the Oklahoma and Texas border. A very very small town.

I'll be in Texas anyway over the holidays. It's just a few hours' drive.

I got sixth row! I actually pulled up 3rd row but it cost $150 more (before fees, which would have made it $180 more) and I'm already blowing enough money on this as it is. I thought, "Is being 3 rows closer really worth $180 dollars?" It was tempting, but in the end, I went with "no."

Of course, on Dec. 31, I bet I'll be saying to myself, "Sure wish I had gotten 3rd row!" lol

I probably won't be seeing Don until next year if he doesn't put out anymore dates after September 22(I don't think he's touring for the rest of the year. I'll be surprise if he did). I can wait for Don. I have all the time to see him. He said he's not retiring anytime soon. So I can wait. Joe will do for now. I'm lucky he's decided to come to the south. I kinda didn't expect that.

I was so excited when I saw that he added this concert, I had asked my husband if he would take me to see him but none of his upcoming concerts were anywhere near us. Then surprise...only 2 hours away from home!! I mentioned it to my husband and he just shook his head and walked away (which means ok) yay!! Then my daughter asked to go as well, she is a fan thru me. She says she was born in the wrong decade and wishes she was around for the 70's & 80's music.
Never got to see the Eagles in concert, but this will make my third solo concert this year: Joe Walsh, Don Felder and now Don Henley. Wish I could see the others as well.
Anyway...our tickets are nowhere near as good as Soda's but hey, we're going!!

Don said in a recent interview that the only reason for doing this one was that the promoter said Don could finish by 10pm so probably no "Funky New Year!"
