On "Out of Control" Glenn, IMHO, sounds a bit like Noddy Holder from Slade. Are there any other songs on which he uses that voice?

It's very different from Tequila Sunrise, which follows it on the album.

I hadn't made a connection with Noddy Holder. I can't think of another song where he uses that voice throughout but it shows up occasionally. Parts of "Heartache Tonight"?
The closest I can think of is "I've Been Born Again" from "No Fun Aloud".

I"ve Been Born Again has some lines sung in what I describe in the 'slade' way, but most of it sounds very Glenn Glenn. IMHO.

Having had a quick re-listen to some Slade, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gqCCAb8xbw (70s fashion warning), I think the comparison is not unreasonable.

One really big different is that Noddy uses a lot of vibrato whereas Glenn uses it sparingly.

I don't think anyone sounds like Noddy Holder. After experiencing some vocal struggles, Slade's manager sent Noddy to a very exclusive, top U.S. voice coach.
After giving the coach a demo, Noddy was asked "Have you always sang like that", after answering "yes", the very exclusive, top U.S. voice coach said bluntly "I can do nothing for you"

Favourite rocking singing from Frey would be, Outlaw Man, Part Of You Part Of Me, Better In The U.S.A., The Heat Is On and Heartache Tonight, of course.

Yeah I agree I thought the song sounded very glam rock ala Sweet. The closest is the coda too Outlaw Man ' Some Call me Sinner, Some call me Saint' bit also that direct gruff voice is similar to his vocals on Get Up Kate the Eagles demo version. Noddys got a great voice and rock n roll feel
