Ive always been a dreamer

I went to see Joe at this show. He was great as usual. I went with a couple of friends, and, unfortunately, they aren't hardcores and didn't want to put the money out for the best seats. So let's suffice it to say I've had a lot better seats at some of Joe's other shows. But, despite the poor view, it was fun seeing the show with my friends and Joe does have some good video on the big screens.

Here is a review of the show ...

I agree with most of this review except this reviewer is much kinder regarding the opening act than I am. And, unfortunately, it was an outdoor venue, so I was forced to hear it. :scowl: And I agree that I was also a bit confused about the video during Turn to Stone. Of course, I was extremely touched with the tribute to Glenn, especially when I saw several folks raising their hands upward to make sure everyone was standing for the song. Joe introduced it for 'my bandmate, my friend, and an all-around good guy'. My friends were very sweet and supportive for me during the song. :grouphug:

I couldn't get the exact setlist, because I lost my pencil, but it was similar to what he's been doing. However, he wasn't quite as talkative and I think he cut a couple of songs because he came out later than expected. The song I missed most is Life of Illusion and he only did Rocky Mountain Way for an encore.

But, overall, a great energetic effort by the master showman!
