Although I've been posting since mid-summer, I never noticed this thread until recently. Sorry, it took so long to say "hello!"

I live in OH and love this site. It is a great repository for all things Eagles. :) Being from OH, I confess to being particularly fond of Joe! Too bad there's no history of his early OH career, except for a few internet articles and some pages in various books about Cleveland's role in rock.

Anyway, I hope to contribute to the already rich knowledge base on this fantastic site! :)

Welcome WashGirl!!! :D I'm from Ohio too in Columbus. I would love to know more about Joe's Ohio years too. I posted before that one of my Mom's co-workers actually lives in the house Joe's parents had when they lived in Columbus and Joe actually showed up around 10 or so years ago when he was here on tour with the Eagles to see his old house. I just thought that was awesome he did that and they had no idea it was his old house and they got to meet him. My Mom and her co-workers were so jealous. LOL

Need to look up that post! :) I actually live not too far from Cleveland so I'm in the heart of James Gang land. But there's so little written about the group, which is surprising given Cleveland's rock roots and the fame achieved by Walsh and the JG.
