Director Curtis Hanson died at the age of 71 from a heart attack. He directed one of my favorite movies, LA Confidential. Too bad that it's not on TV as often as I would like. It's also the movie that I thought deserved Best Picture for films released in 1997. Yep, I didn't like Titanic at all.
He will be missed and may he rest in peace.
