Just found out that George Michael died today. He was only 53.

I grew up listening to his music. Father Figure, One More Try, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Faith, his version of Queen's Somebody to Love. Careless Whisper is one of my ringtones.

Damn!!! 2016 really has sucked. Too many people have died.

I adored Wham and I loved so many of his solo hits as well.... so upset. He was way too young - 53 is nothing nowaways. Awful!

RIP.

RIP George Michael. :( So sad to hear this. My Mom loved him and Wham! so much. He's another I grew up on and my Mom still tells stories of how much I loved "Faith" as a toddler and would sing and dance along to it. She's a bit freaked out by it too as she's the same age. So sad it happened on Christmas too.

This is so sad. His voice was beautiful.

I remember my friends and I drooling over him in his "Faith" video. And who could forget "Careless Whisper"? He was truly talented. Another great 80s artist gone too soon.

RIP George Michael

Lately I've been looking pictures of any of the guys with people we have lost this year. Some I found and some I didn't.

I was looking online for any pictures of the guys with George. I couldn't find any. I guess they never crossed paths. I would had thought with Don or Glenn when they did the MTV music awards, but I guess not.

Gee, 2016 is not giving up, is it?? Now, George Michael R.I.P.

I loved his Faith album especially One More Try and Hand to Mouth but Listen Without Prejudice was outstanding. I loved everything but Heal the Pain was my favourite....kind of fitting now.....

Of course they don't. Unless they don't sing with a popular singer or rapper, you're just another singer that nobody cares about. I would say people 30 and under don't know who George Michael is . So unless your parents had you listening to his music growing up, you don't know who he is. He's just a washed up has been. Sad to say, but I think that's what this generation is thinking especially with a lot of singers dying this year(especially the ones who haven't put out an album in years).

I have seen a few who is he or who cares post on facebook. Its sad.
