TV's original Batman actor Adam West passed away last night from leukemia at 88. :( I'm so sad to hear this as his show the first introduction to Batman that I had, thanks to my Dad being a fan since he was a little boy when it originally aired, and I've watched everything Batman since. Batman/Bruce Wayne is still my favorite superhero and that's all due to Adam's version. He also did many cartoon voice roles too especially for "Family Guy" as the town's mayor. RIP Adam.

I knew him as Quahog's mayor long before I knew Adam West was Tv's original Batman. RIP Adam :(

Poor guy. Remember he was mentioned in Don Felder's book? They and their wives were in the same Lamaze class.

I loved watching Batman and Robin even though they seemed corny at times. RIP Adam West.

I'm not a Batman fan, so I didn't know him from that, but I'm fairly sure he was a guest actor in an episode of Alias Smith & Jones. I think he played a lawyer named Blubaker (or something like that). In fact, I think he may have appeared in 2 episodes playing the same character. RIP
