I guess Don H didn't care much for Stevie Nicks' Fajita Roundup.

I don't think the lawsuit is too ridiculous, since some menu items literally take snippets of lyrics from the song but in Spanish. If they did as a parody, like they modified the lyric snippet as a pun, then I would find the lawsuit more ridiculous.

I also thought that this wasn't that recent based on what the website looks like, but it is. The Wordpress site looks like it's from the days of dial-up.

LOL!

You know if Don spent half as much time creating new music as he does going on tangents in his solo shows about YouTube and Google or suing small businesses, the world would be a better place. I think David Geffen is right, he's a malcontent. A loveable one sure, but still. lol I get a little tired of his antics.

They really need to learn how to pick their battles. It seems that in most cases like this, all you really do, is end up helping the restaurant or hotel or whatever, because you bring them attention, and sympathy from people who think these lawsuits are ridiculous.
Fight the big stuff like bootleg CDs, DVDs, and apparel. I'd be willing to bet that this taco stand hasn't sold 1 more taco than it would have because they use a phrase from Desperado.

In one of these lawsuits, they said something to the effect that if they let even one instance slide of people making money off of the Eagles, it weakens their brand. I will have to look it up later because my bad memory means I don't always do justice to quotes with my paraphrases, but that was my understanding.

I wonder how they find these things? This little taco stand in Mexico seems pretty obscure, but then again, the article does call it "famous." I guess the term is relative.

I took the article as a joke.

No, you are not. It's actually believable that the Eagles would sue a taco stand. That's the funny/sad part.

That Fajita Roundup video you posted was hilarious, btw.

Thanks! I'm glad that there's at least one FM SNL parody.

Well, I honestly can't tell from fact and fiction with their lawsuits nowadays. It's alright though. It just makes them look kind of bad.

Well, don't feel bad, I at first thought it was real too. Especially since we all know their history of filing law suits.
