I decided to remember Glenn the same way I did last year. I took my elderly Mother on a long drive through the woods, looking at the beautiful Fall leaves, listening to the "AfterHours" cd on repeat. She said, "every time I hear that voice, I know why he's my new favorite singer"! He's still charming the ladies!
But I got emotional listening to CDs at home alone, one more year without him. I know he is making sweet music where there are "No more stormy nights, No more cloudy days". Happy Birthday, our Glenn.

You are most welcome appreciate you letting us know. Apart from the music connection and Jack's easy going approach to the songwriting process, I think Jack and Glenn got along so well because they both loved to laugh and joke around. Glenn clearly valued their friendship which spanned almost half a century. Wow!

46 years is a long time to be friends with someone. It sounds like Jack and Glenn just had one of those special friendships that last through good and bad times. I would guess the same could be said for Bob Seger. Bob said they were friends for 50 years when Glenn passed.
