New Orleans is 3 hours away from me. I hate that its during the week, but I'm just going to get over that and drive down to New Orleans. I don't know when the next time they are coming close to me. They probably will again down the road.

Its funny that I'll be turning back around 3 weeks later to go on a cruise.

Can somebody click on that link to see how much the tickets are? I can't click on it at work because Ticketmaster is blocked. I might buy a ticket next week. IF not, I will start saving. I probably call Smoothie King Center to buy a ticket so I don't have to pay for the high taxes on Ticketmaster.

Okay - I'm going to repost essentially what I wrote earlier in another thread just to clear up any misunderstandings ...

"I know all the different threads are confusing. But I think right now they are probably the best compromise we can come up with. Here's how I am thinking about it in order to keep it straight in my little brain ...

The 'No Glenn; No Legit Eagles' thread is for those who disagree with this lineup/tour and just want to vent.

The tour threads are for those who are excited about the shows and just want to celebrate.

Then, last but not least, the 'How do you feel about this years full-fledged tour' thread is for those who want to debate the pros and cons of this lineup/tour.

Again, I know all this may seem pretty clumsy, but, at least for right now, it seems to be the best way to keep the peace. As much as we try, I can't think of anything that is going to make everyone happy, but we'll do the best we can.'

But as we moderators have also warned repeatedly ... name-calling and pointing fingers at other members is disrespectful and against the Terms of Service and can earn you a strike. And yes - it is also very negative. So if you want to be positive and don't want others to rain on your parade, then please don't do it.

One more month until I see the Eagles in New Orleans. I'm excited and its also bittersweet knowing Glenn is not with them and I was able to see him.

I'm counting down to this and also my vacation exactly 3 weeks after the concert. I have to drive back down there to head on my cruise.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you find yourself getting drowsy enough where you have to make an effort to keep your eyes open and your head up (like you're trying to turn up the radio and stuff to keep alert), then pull over into a well-lit parking lot (like a fast food restaurant or a big gas station) and take a nap in the back seat for a half hour or however long you need.

I had an accident once from falling asleep at the wheel and it's well worth the short delay to be safe.

I'm only taken an hour off of work to drive down to New Orleans. I don't remember how bad the traffic is in New Orleans, but I shouldn't have too much trouble with traffic.

Aaaah, Shun, I'm so excited for you. It's really something to have Don, Joe and Timothy singing their songs right there in front of you, in the same room! It's even something seeing Steuart and Will and the other backing musicians live, after seeing them on video for so many years - they're sort of famous too! (to us, at least haha). Can't wait to read your review. Be safe. Hopefully they play VoL.

I've seen Will, Michael, Milo, Scott, Erica and Steuart with Don last year. So this will be my first time seeing them playing with the guys.

I've seen Don, Joe, and Vince's solo shows, but I've never seen Timothy in concert.
