I’ve found this video of a band doing a cover of an apparent unreleased song that was written by Don and Glenn supposedly in the early 70’s. They don’t say where they got it from or how they know it but it’s there. Has anyone heard of this song? Is there already a thread on it? Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/_Sbel73Q_vo

There’s not a separate topic about it AFAIK, but it was discussed in this thread (https://www.eaglesonlinecentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7144&page=3) (starts at post #25).

Sounds like it could be a Henley/Frey track, discarded to make room for a Leadon or Meisner track but I've seen no other acknowledgement of it, YoungEaglesFan.

Here's a Henley/Frey tune that surely would have been on The Long Run if it was a double album as initially planned or if it wasn't already, Henley lead vocal, heavy.

Mickey Thomas - Too Much Drama
(from his 1981 Alive Alone album)

Donny Baldwin – Background Vocals

Drums : Joe Vitale
Bass : George "Chocolate" Perry
Guitar : Don Felder
Piano : Paul Harris
Background Vocals :: Don Baldwin, Joe Vitale, George "Chocolate" Perry & Mickey Thomas
Produced by Bill Szymczyk & Allan Blazek

The music could be by them I suppose but the lyrics don’t seem to fit them. I could see Leadon writing something like that though. Too bad there isn’t more info available.

Now this sounds like Henley and Frey. I can hear Henley singing it- it suits his vocals. Thanks Funk 50!
