I think this song is gorgeous...to anyone's knowledge, has it ever been played live? I would love to see a video of this.

I too would love to find a live version of My Man but I don’t think it’s been played. I haven’t heard of My Man, Is it true or on the border ever being played live. I thought that way about bitter creek and you never cried like a Love but I found bootlegs of them recently. So maybe there is hope

I don't recall ever hearing about My Man being played live before either. According to this thread (https://www.eaglesonlinecentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3243), it hasn't. I haven't read through that old thread recently, but it may need to be updated.

It's listed as an encore from one of Bernie's performances in 2004.

Interesting...I didn't know Bernie did solo performances (there is very little out there about Bernie at all). It doesn't look like he performed it with the Eagles, though.

Has been done live. Don't remember when or where ("I TOLD you to lay off those cleaning products!") but it was performed. Possibly in Florida, where Gram Parson's family still lives.:smokin:

Cool. Did anyone play steel on it?

I don't recall anybody playing steel, at least not a pedal steel...:smokin:

I’d think it have to be Felder since that song isn’t that complex and they have 3 guitar players. Bernie probably played acoustic and sang I guess

My Man is a beautiful tribute to Gram. I just saw a Bio on Gram and I had no idea how influential he was in all the music back then. So sad we lost him far too soon.
