Anyone know if this exists?? I been watching the documentary again and I wish more would have been included especially in part 2.

I love it but was wondering if such a thing exists.

I personally would have loved to here more about the situation between 98-2001 with the Felder stuff. To me it was clear that both sides felt really hurt by the situation but I feel there was more stuff cut that we never got to see.

That's a good idea. Sometimes DVDs will have extras like the complete interviews - that would be boffo, especially since Randy's comments lasted nanoseconds.

A director's cut would be wonderful! Somehow, though, I think we've seen all we're ever going to see.

it did feel odd with the first 2 hours covering 71-80....and only 1 hour covering 94-2013.
I'd have liked to have seen at least a 2 hour part 2, or even
2 hours: origin through split
1 hour: covering the broken up years
2 hours; resumption through current.

I feel it was more for casual fans who have a bigger interest in the bands old days. I would like to have heard more about the LROOE album and how Steuart Smith joined the band

Was there enough to say, though, to spend as much time on the years 1994-2013? The only released 2 albums, if you count HFO as a full album, since it only had 4 new songs, compared to their output in the 70s. What I'd like to see is the extra footage that they obviously have...we had snippets of concerts, from the 70s to 2013, I'd love to see the full performances.

I would have liked more Troubadour history that was really the hub and launching point and it would have been interesting to hear from bartenders and waitresses who always have good stories to tell.

I think Part 1 was longer because there was so much information to cover. There was the whole origin of the band, all of the albums, and especially all of the lineup changes: the original four; Felder joins the 4; Bernie out, Joe in; Randy out, Timothy in. Then there was the breakup to cover. That and those years being the heyday of the band I think warrant Part 1 being longer.

I would have liked to known more about Glenn and Henley's side of the Felder dismissal that could have easily been 30 more minuets

Me too, Dawn. That would have been awesome! I bet there would have been some great stories...

They could have used more of the unreleased concert footage from the reunion years. We saw a brief snippet of HFO tour footage we hadn't seen before. We know how much they are sitting on. To me it was inexcusable that they raced through the reunion years so briefly. It confirmed what I suspected, that they had become a heritage act with no interest in creating anything new. That was why I was so uneasy with the whole 'History' concept for that last tour. And then Glenn died and they became a museum piece.

I agree they were largely a heritage act but I don’t they were completely that. I think as their responsibilities in their lives grew they weren’t willing to devote as much time to the band and thus limited them from being more creative and new. I think LROOE was still quite the achievement

I said they became a heritage act AFTER LROOE, with the HOTE tour & documentary, when they almost pretended the album didn't exist.

The stuff about not being willing to devote as much time to the band hardly stands up when you talk about touring, does it.

Agree with this. I thinkn there could have been so much more from 99-2001 with the Felder drama and Stu joining.

I still want to see Netflix or Hulu do a 10 or 12 episode Limited Series on the Eagles. Talk about a great show!!!!!

I wish there was more from that period also. I know there is, but release it.

There is indeed more. Apparently, I heard (and I agree) that almost everything they performed live was recorded (from the beginning till presented). Henley and Azoff are just sitting on it, guarding it from everyone. It is a running gag among the Walsh and Felder fans to trash talk about Henley, Azoff and even Frey about copyright striking and unavailability of stuff esp. the ones who love the Eagles' renditions of Joe Walsh covers.

And btw, my friends might get some more footage of stuff like Giants Stadium (a full pro shot concert), amongst like more than 30 concerts. In the meantime, check out these links in order to slightly satiate your want for HFO tour performances:

I wish Don and Irving would open the vaults and release everything too. However, I will not hold my breath waiting for it to happen.
All but two of the video are blocked.

I think once the cash dries up, then you'll start to see DVD releases of the concerts.....I would love to see a "Hell Freezes Over Live" DVD...where you took some of the best performances and compiled them for a full concert. I don't think it necessarily has to be from ONE show, but just the best performances from the entire tour edited together. Maybe even list the cities and dates along with the songs.
