R.I.P. President Bush

So sad that '41' has left us, but he has gone to be with his beloved Barbara. He was a kind and decent man and devoted his entire life to public service. My heart goes out to the Bush family as they cope with a very tough year.

I too was sad to hear this. The Bush family has had a difficult year, first their Mom and now their Dad. He led an amazing life. RIP President Bush. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Love that editorial cartoon!

I have to agree with "W": a greatly underrated President. Rest in Peace, Mr. Bush...

Marshall Ramsey is the cartoonist for my city's newspaper. He does great cartoons.

I loved his cartoon when Ms. Bush died and when I saw this this morning, I started to cry.

RIP Mr. Bush Sr. He has reunited with Barbara and their daughter, Robin.

My thoughts and prayers are also with the Bush family and their friends. President and Mrs Bush were such an amazing couple. It was an honor to have them as fellow Houstonians these past 25 years. You never knew when you would see them. They would pop up at sporting events, concerts, plays. Both of them were so active in the community.
I will miss seeing them at the Astros games.
RIP President Bush

I always crack up when George W. and Michelle Obama get together. He gave her a mint again today.

RIP!

I always liked the Bush family, even as a staunch democrat and coming from a long line of Clinton (and then Obama) supporters. My folks did too. The moment where George W. Bush handed Michelle Obama a piece of candy was a very sweet moment. It shows the kind of decorum we should expect from a president, and I'll leave it at that! George H.W. Bush was before my time but everything I've heard of him sounded like a good man and president.

It was also moving seeing him taken to be buried at my alma mater, Texas A&M, where his presidential library his housed.

My cousins were among those who saw him in Houston one last time.

I was 8 when George Sr. became President. I remembered when I was in middle school in 1992 when he ran against Clinton, our school did a mock election to see who we would vote for if we were old enough to vote. I voted for him.

I always heard good things about him. It looks like Jimmy Carter is now the oldest living president now. Technically he and Bush are the same age, but Bush was just 4 months older than him.
