Just joined today. I'm 73, retired and living in Colorado Springs. I spent 20 years in the Air Force and retired in 1986. I spent 30 years working in the defense industry for several companies.

My hobbies are golf, college football (especially LSU), and of course watching and listening to the Eagles.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Eagles perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver in 1975. Hell of a show

Thanks for the welcome and a special thanks for noting my military service.

The altitude at Red Rocks is 6,400 feet. The haze drifting through the ampitheatre that night made is seem like 10,000 feet.

Welcome COTiger. I hope you enjoy it here on The Border.

Like others, I also thank you for your many years of service to our country.

That 1975 concert must have been awesome. Even though I've been a fan since the Eagles' beginning, unfortunately, I didn't get to go to concerts in the 70's, and I also missed out on Hell Freezes Over. But, I was lucky to be able to make up for it in the band's later years.

BTW - I have a niece that lived in Colorado Springs for 4 years and I visited her several times. It is a beautiful place.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I arrived at the Air Force Academy in 1972 and with the exception of one year spent in Turkey while still in the Air Force I have been here ever since. Being born and raised in SW Louisiana I do miss the Cajun food though.
