Disgusting, indeed! And trying to use Glenn's name to get away with it!:scowl: "Well respected professionals", my foot! I wonder how they were stolen to begin with. That one had the gall to try "coercing Henley into buying them back" is beyond belief. The idiot obviously didn't fully understand who he was dealing with!:armed::samurai:I'm sure he'll throw the book at them...no, the whole library! Sic 'em, Don!!!!

I heard this on the news this morning. The one guy I remember who wrote a book about the Eagles but was never published was Ed Sands(I think that was his last name). Anyway, Don reportedly has the manuscript, but I don't know why it was never published. I can't imagine Glenn ever turning over the lyrics to anyone. They are/were so protective of their music. Of course the news only mentioned Don as the writer of the lyrics. On the news this morning they said the papers/notes are worth 1 million dollars.

Ed Sanders. If he’s the biographer referred to in the indictment, I wonder why he wasn’t charged?

One of the rare few times I'll ever tell Don Henley to use lawyers and think it's more than justified that he does - this is it. Take them to the cleaners!

Agreed. Maybe that’s why he’s so vigilant about being ripped off? Just an idea.

Yeah - I agree that Don should go full force against these guys. In Don's defense, there have been legitimate cases when he took legal action against others; however, there have also been some times when he seemed to be overly-litigious.

My point exactly Dreamer. And it makes him seem very sue-happy. However here and in cases like it it is justified IMO. Other times it's just, well, not!

Totally agree with everyone. This is one time the lawsuit is totally justified. However, that Henley lawsuit against Duluth Trader comes to mind.....lol.
