There's this musician named Bernie LaBarge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_LaBarge), that I discovered recently.

He's primarily a session player, sideman, collaborator, and has been in numerous lesser known bands within Canada.

LaBarge released one solo album in 1984 titled Barging In (https://www.discogs.com/release/6731826-Bernie-LaBarge-Barging-In/).

When I listen to the Barging In (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kOCKvNScIsF_vim6W7eQRQrd5jfk p0wfs) album (now been reissued), in particular to 'Can't Hold On Forever', there's this Don Henley vocal vibe in LaBarge's voice.
