Yes, Peekaboo! I remember when that Nokia picture came out first MF saw it and posted the comment 'GA will flip'. As soon as I saw it........I flipped! Its one of the top 10 in gorgeous pics, no question.

OMG - after I posted that young Desperado picture of Glenn, I scrolled back up to the picture in Peekaboo's post right above mine, and I had one of those "WOW" moments. If you want to talk about the more things change, the more they stay the same, just look at those two pictures.

The contrast is stark - young long-haired, rebellious, cowboy Glenn vs. the perfectly coiffed current day Glenn in a business suit. Talk about what a difference 35 years makes. Yet, there are as many similarities between the two pictures as there are contrasts. Look at his face in the two pics - the features are still amazingly similar - same mouth, jaw, nose, eyes. And yes, the same charm, charisma, and sex appeal. Hmmm - maybe 35 years doesn't make that much difference after all.

Ain't it funny how his new life didn't change things, he's still the same ole boy he used to be!

Hey FP, when was Glenn singing in AC, and what Borderers went?? I assume he sang that song in a solo concert, and not as part of an Eagles tour. Obviously, I missed the boat on that one...that would have been pretty close for me to go.

He did a mini tour in 2006 called Prelude To Obscurity. That photo was again of ILTWAWD. The only other song he does without a guitar is Desperado (that is in the Minnesota shot). I haven't got time to link to PTO at the moment but I know Soda, Dreamer, PLS, Molly and a couple of others (apologies to any left out) saw the tour.

Woah - I think I'm back now and I just noticed the date on FP's pics. In another thread, we were talking about how we became 'chosen' by our Eagle, and I mentioned that it was the Oakland concert where Glenn captivated my heart. Well that show was on October 11, 2005, just a couple of weeks before these pictures were taken. Now, you all can get an idea of what I saw that night from my 3rd row center seat that ... eerrr ... caught my attention. :shock:

I flew 10,000 miles to London to see Glenn :heart: and the Eagles in concert, and although I was sitting in the second row, right in front of him, and even got an acknowledgement from him at the end of the concert :fainted:, I still didn't get to shake his hand!:sad: Oh well, I still feel very fortunate to have pulled off what I did, so no complaints here... :wink:

Troubadour, these are so very beautiful. Of all the gorgeous photos that have been posted since my absence that I've thus far seen (thanks everybody!), these have grabbed me the most.
