My latest Google Alert. Now I know what to ask for Mother's Day--all it costs is $3,500. :shock:

New York, NY / May 31st
An exclusive Eagles VIP experience, including a private dinner reception with the band’s co-founder and environmentalist Don Henley, followed by the Madison Square Garden concert from your premium seats. Prior to taking the stage. Don will join you during dinner for a photo opportunity. In addition, to commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime experience, each guest will be presented with an Eagles autographed guitar.

GO FOR IT!!

Think about it: The Takamine guitars last Christmas cost $2500, and the ILAA package is $1000. Then you also get the meet and greet! If it was Glenn :heart: I'd be doing it! You bet!

Unfortunately, I don't have an extra $3,500 lying around, so it isn't even in the realm of possibility.

It says 'photo opportunity' - I bet it will be a quick 'have your picture taken' and that's it. I'd love some premium seats at MSG though :D Is anyone going to the MSG concerts?

I've been to these before and you're quite right TBSF - shoot the photo and go. Of course, Don may be different in his own meet'n'greet, but that's how it went with the Stevie Nicks / Don Henley meet'n'greet.

Oh, I know it would be worth it---there is just no way I can afford the asking price, plus air fare to New York plus hotel costs, etc....

Oh I know, its far more than just the actual ticket! Of course it would be a huge financial commitment! I guess most of us can only dream........ :pray: :pray: :pray:
