I'd just like to add how much I've enjoyed the downloads from your site, especially the video. It's been great to see some older live clips. Ol' 55 stands out - what a great track!

Thanks! The next one I'm put up is the outtake "Out of Control" from BBC 1973. If you haven't seen it, Glenn is SO HOT in it. It's actually already uploaded - maybe I'll give you guys a sneak preview if I can remember what I named the file!

OK, hopefully this link should take you to the clip! Warning: BIG file but SO WORTH IT. Sorry for the glitch at the end, though.

I love that song. Charisma PLUS. 'Where's my baby? Where'd she go?' If it had been me I would not have gone anywhere. http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smokin.gif

Does anyone have trouble with the .avi format? I can convert it to .mpg once I get back to West Lafayette.

Thanks, Soda, my Real player only had the audio (which was great anyway), so I'd be very grateful for the .mpg version.

OK, no problem. Unfortunately, there will be a bit of loss of quality, but it should still be good - just smaller.

Love it Soda - Glenn is so hot in that whole concert and I always loved "Out of Control." I always wondered why some more of the songs that Glenn really rocked on during the early days didn't make it as big hits cause I loved 'em!

Thank you, Soda, there seems to be no loss in quality.
I think I'll just go and watch it again...

Because they didn't fit the country rock image?
I would much rather hear him sing Out Of Control than what has happened to Desperado when the Eagles do it. It will never happen, of course.

Out of Control live nowadays? Now THAT would be awesome. But yeah, not too likely.

He has kind of a rock and roll "growl" when he sings that song. Would probably wreck havoc on his voice nowadays. But I agree, that is one of my favorite songs and favorite performance clips. I also agree, FP, not only would this baby not go anywhere, he'd probably have had a hell of a time trying to get rid of me!
I like the way Bernie and Randy smile at each other during the Woo Woo's, like they're trying not to crack each other up.

Just watched 'Out Of Control' again. It's a great recording of a great piece of music. That Mr Frey is already in control imo, has the others under his thumb.

It really is amazing! I think the next clip I put up will be Desperado from the Dublin Strange Weather video.

Oh soda - you know us! We are so easy, anything Glenn will work. What about A Good Day in Hell - have you put that one up yet?
My best recollection is that Glenn is HOT in that one!!! http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif

Is it still up?
When I clicked on it, it didn't come up.
I hate when that happens.

Nah, I only put it up temporarily, Fred. Sorry!
I have two video versions of Good Day in Hell - one from Kirshner 1974, one from Houston 1976. Any preference?

Kirshner. I don't know Houston well enough. But in Kirshner he stares at the camera....http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smokin.gif

Pehaps you ladies could help me. I'm trying to determine the identity of the guitar player in the 'I Found Someone' video. The gentleman is wearing a skinny white tie and is standing next to sax player. I'm thinking it may be Josh Leo, but I'm not sure. Actually, I'm not even sure why I feel the need to know!

I can tell you the bass player is Bryan Garafalo and the sax player is good old Al, but I don't know who the guitarist is (apart from the guy in the white suit). :D It probably is Josh Leo, because he played on the record.
