Joe said in in interview that getting Steuart was a big plus..He's so good, writes and produces. When making the LROE Joe said that Steuart played most all the guitar parts. Joe just played his songs and played mostly piano, keyboard and organ on the album.
Steuart is one of the few players you can still see using a thumb pick.

Will was inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame this past weekend and he had a surprised special guest, his boss Don Henley.

Happy 60th Birthday to the longest member of the back up band, Scotty!! I met him once in 2017 after the Don’s solo show in Austin. A nice guy who took the time to talk to us. Him and Michael.
Happy Belated 61st Birthday on yesterday to Scott Crago who’s been with the guys for 30 years. Wow!!
Steuart is no longer with the guys. He recently was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and has retired. So sad for Steuart. Wishing Steuart the best. Chris Holt (who was recently in Don’s solo band and plays in Mike Campbell’s band) has taken Steuart’s place for the rest of the shows.

Oh man that is so sad.
Steuart is an excellent musician and I absolutely love his playing. I'm not going to be seeing the guys again but the two times I saw him live with the band he put on a masterclass. Such a versatile player.
So sad to hear this. He was such a good player and seemed like a nice guy.
