The long hair didn't really suit him and when it's tied back in a messy pony tail it looks like he's about to take a bath. (My turn to duck & run for cover!).

Well I will chime in and agree.......the long haired look is my least favorite look for Don. Just does NOT suit him at all, imo. Much prefer the afro look...and pretty much every other look for that matter. ;) I do love his expressions in the long hair pics though!

Even then, though, he has some very nice moments....
