Even Glenn has had some work done. Or so I've read.
Really? I've always sort of admired that all of them look their age, and in fact, naturally look their age and damn good for their age. I knew Glenn had his nose and teeth fixed for various reasons, but never would have guessed any other work. (My mother always makes remarks about his eyes getting smaller and smaller each year, so I won't tell her to avoid any catty comments!)
So jealous of all of you and your DVD sets. Have to wait til payday. So there's no extra interviews or cut footage?
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
BTW the executive producer of the documentary is Blair Foster, not Glenn. Glenn is the executive MUSIC producer.

It feels like you're watching the band mime to the released take of the title track, but then the band grind to a halt, and you realise you were actually listening to them playing it live.
For some reason I had in my mind that that album was assembled instrument-by-instrument, but the title track at least was predominantly a live band performance.
The actual music video for "The Long Run" doesn't have that "stop" in there - which is why it was so cool to see it on the doc.
I think that original Long Run video (of the whole song) is so cool. Almost like a snapshot inside the studio.

I said the same thing, but I did it for this and used Amazon Prime with free shipping and it was waiting for me when I got home! Amazingly it came a day after it was released!
Haven't had time to watch yet, but can't wait to see the concert footage! Maybe tonight!
And T&H, shame on you for posting that pic of JB! You've messed up my dreams! I won't look at it anymore!
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
So I just showed my grandma the Eagles performing "New Kid in Town" from the bonus DVD and she started crying. I asked her why and she said she didn't know, that piece of music just stirs up emotions in her and to see them performing it live in 1977 just added to those emotions.
Ah the power of music at its finest.

The concert footage is really good, just what you've been waiting for. Enjoy it!
