Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread Sept 2011 - March 2013

Yeah - I don't think I've ever seen that picture of Glenn and Linda before either. As far as Glenn's attire in it, it's ironic that in those days, he probably wouldn't have been caught dead in a suit, and just look at him now.

And I'll have to say Glenn of all ages works for me!!! :thumbsup:

Your comment made me curious, Dreamer, so I went back to the galleries to see if I could find any photos of him in a suit before 1979. This was the closest I could come:

I did some searching for photos of Linda & Glenn & I found that photo with this caption:

Glenn of any age works for me too. '70's Glenn has really grown on me over these past few years but, it's still my least favorite era for him.

Oh yeah!!! Always did and always will! I always prefer most recent, but past pictures always bring back good memories. Except for HFO, of course. No good memories there, but I have to say, HFO Glenn is looking pretty good. Someday I might actually watch that DVD.

No wonder Glenn's got an award; NARM is a music industry organization that "advances the promotion, marketing, distribution, and sale of music and entertainment" - the Eagles' Hotel California must have advanced them a great deal!!

Mystery solved, I think. It appears that the award was Linda's, not the Eagles'. I did a search for "Glenn Frey & Linda Ronstadt photos" & while I was perusing this site http://simplylindaronstadt.tumblr.com/page/23 I found these pictures:

This award was offered on eBay about 6 months ago & the person who posted it assumes that it was the same award that Linda is receiving in the other pictures.
