Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
The last time Glenn & Joe were on this show (to promote LROOE) they had them commenting on Halloween, Buffalo Bill, finances & the lost art of letterwritting by hand. :headscratch: They were good sports, but I would much rather have heard more about what they were doing! :scowl:
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
Well we also complain when they get asked the same old questions too. At least we get to hear something different when the questions are off-the-wall. Still ~ JLS??
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
As I said earlier we have downloaded this so I hope to get screenshots.

From Ultimate Classic Rock. I also posted in the Glenn In The Press thread but it also mentions the other guys.

Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
Thanks, TBF, I posted the full interview (not done by UCR) over in Sundance. Check it out if you want the real story instead of UCR's spin. I have to wonder if they do this with every article, or if they just hate the Eagles.
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
We watched the One Show. It was much better than I had expected after what I had heard about the JLS questions. Glenn & Joe sat there for the whole show so they got to answer questions in between the other stories. I never thought I would hear Angela Rippon (BBC newsreader) lecture Glenn & Joe on password protection. Reginald D. Hunter was a guest. He is an American comedian now resident in the UK & is a favourite in our house. He got some laughs out of Joe.
When they were talking about bans breaking up Glenn said they broke up more with a whimper than a bang. I never thought I'd hear Glenn reference T.S. Eliot. He looked very good (they both did) but he was very guarded. He seems more relaxed in a solo capacity during interviews than when he does the In Charge of the Eagles stuff. He cackled, though, when Joe said about the end of HC that he & Felder played the duelling guitars at the end 'so that neither of them would win'.
I hope to get screen shots tomorrow.

Is there a place on this web site where you save it? I couldn't play the video because BBC doesn't allow people outside the UK to play it.

I'm sorry, but all I have is the video file on my computer. I can't send Soda the file by email because I got a message saying 'not enough memory'. The show is an hour long & it contains stories on other topics besides the Eagles. Glenn & Joe are featured throughout, not just in one segment.
This is the link, however, and no, I couldn't play it either:
