Ah that made my lunchtime complete  :thud: Thanks for that Jess.
Magnificent.
Love the video too, thanks!
You can see a bit where Don plays bongos at 6:30 of this:

Thanks Soda - very cute. And that End of the Innocences video that Jess posted is just beautiful. Don looks gorgeous in it too, which doesn't hurt any. Does anybody know when and where that was filmed?
Thanks again Jess--that song just "gets me" every time!!
Soda-very cool! Sure I'm not alone when I say he can make even that one little word sound sexy as heck!!!
Hmm Now I am curious. I'm gonna have to go back and look again now to see who. I was working at the same time.
Oooh!! I haven't seen that video in forever. Love how he gets so into it with those bongos. Oh so cute!! And just him saying the word "Me" makes ME SIGH big time. :inlove:
I did a few screens caps of this. Heading to Henley Heaven now to get those posted.
I've been listening to the guys solo stuff a lot lately. I'll probably be posting in all of their video threads.

My favorite by Don

OMG.....I don't think this has been posted before? recording of Don singing one of my favourite Lennon/ McCartney songs! :inlove:
Also a couple of pics on there i've not seen before, notably Don with David Crosby!

I adore all these videos - and Don is amazing on "Yes It Is"! Timothy sounds great on it, too.
If you wait until that video is over and then go to the bottom, they are offering a video with Stevie Nicks and Don Henley doing Hotel California in 2005 at Jones Beach. It is a GREAT video and it's a lot of fun watching Don and Stevie together. They also has Last Worthless Evening. Wonderful
You will also see a couple of faces that look familiar playing at that show.
Check this out guys - Don's 1989 Saturday Night Live appearance! Sheryl Crow is a backing singer. If you look, you can see her standing in between two black ladies on the a podium to Don's left with that big 80s hair (good shot of her at 3:39).

What a nice surprise. Thanks, Soda. I've never seen that video.
I love his stance during the intro -- legs spread, holding the mike, head turned to the side, Very hot. Love me a little Don.:inlove:
Yes, he's looking fierce there!
Soda - Thanks for posting Last Worthless Evening. This is one of my all time favorites of Don's. I have never seen this particular video before. You made my day.
No problem!
You know, all of the Saturday Night Live episodes post-1980 are currently being released on DVD without the music portions. Apparently Universal/NBC thought it was too expensive to shell out for the music rights, similar to Stephen Cannel's decision not to release the music-oriented "Dead Dog" story arc of Wiseguy containing Glenn. Rather than pay for each musical guest's performances all over again, Universal simply edited them out on the DVD releases. What a loss to the fans! Thus, if you want to see performances like these, the internet is pretty much your only option.
At least the musical guests from 1975-1980 are intact on the DVD releases, but sadly the Eagles never appeared on SNL back then.
Here's a bit with a smidgeon of Don:

(Apparently, even his relatively easy name to spell can be botched lol)
Awesome video from Saturday Night Live! I absolutely love SNL, and having Don as a musical guest makes it even better.
Loved the video of Last Worthless Evening. All the other video clips of Don I've seen he seems to be very restrained in - even when he's singing with a lot of passion. This one he's really getting right into the song, almost dancing.

Love them! I also love that screen cap, EK. Adorable!
I don't think this has been posted before....if it has I apologise - i've not seen it here

ooh! Cool!!
ETA: I like Bryan Adams but wow, he surely pales in comparison to Don here.
Loved it!! I agree Soda---but then again, it's hard for anyone to hold a candle to Don!!!
You guys are right - unfair of me to even compare - it's just every time Bryan Adams would take the mic I'd be all "No - go back to Don" lol
ETA: I love the look on Don's face at 2:40 as he sings "So many people you just had to meet without your clothes." He does sarcasm so well!
He's displayed that devastating sarcasm before in his own work and discussions. Yeah, he didn't write those particular lyrics, but the delivery is that of a master. ;)
A friend send me this video.

Sorry, but I think that was from the early part of last year - or even longer ago than that?:hmm:
