An article about Don that is a repeat. Still a good read. I like it when the word 'legend' is used in reference to our guys.

I don't see how politicians have the balls to use a song without permission. I read the article & I do think that people would assume the song is an endorsement of the candidate...And I can clearly see that Neil Young would NOT support Trump in any way... I DO think he will sue & WIN.
However, Trumps announcement to run is a stand up comics dream come true, LOL Let the fun begin!
I SAY GO NEIL  Don't let this jerk use you for his own gain!!
Did Trump really think that he could use Rockin in the Free World, and not piss off Neil Young? :hilarious:
It's Neil's song, and he should have the right to not let people use it for their own agenda,as should any artist. I agree with Topkat, that if an artist lets a political candidate use one of their songs, then in a way, that shows a sign of endorsement.
As for Trump running, ain't the political clown car already full? This will be the first presidential election that I can vote in, and it's going to be a nail biter.
The problem is that if Trump only uses songs by musicians who support his candidacy, he'd be hard pressed to find any! Maybe he should use old songs by performers who have died. They're the only ones who wouldn't complain.
Trump is rather arrogant, and if he gave it a thought, he'd have figured he could do anything he want. In the odd case where a mere artist would disagree with him, well, in his world, those with the most money win.

Good point, Soda. I still can't believe that he's serious about running!
His arrogance and "holier than thou" attitude is part of why I could never vote for him. I don't want a person who sticks their nose up at us regular folks to be in the white house!
Rather arrogant is putting it mildly. Yes, he thinks he can do whatever he wants, but I do not think Neil Young is the type to let him get away with this. I think he's like Henley in this type of thing, & wouldn't care how much it costs him, he will sue Trump & let the world know what an idiot he is.
He just thinks he can buy his way into the White House. He's just making a fool of himself. :hilarious:
Can't wait to see Neil take action here.
