Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
this isn't exactly the "press", but I wasn't sure where else to post it
saw this on facebook this morning:

that's 11pm Pacific if you did want to tune in :)
which side would you want to hear?
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
i've been thinking about it...it's so hard to choose a side! haha
but I guess I would pick side one...i think haha
thankfully I can listen to the entire album any time I'd like! :)
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
Sorry, but it is Side One for me every single time.
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
The magic of CDs, there are no sides. I have my devices on shuffle and since I need to wear reading glasses to undo it, I leave them like that. I don't remember what's on side 1 and side 2!

It's kind of sad, though. There are albums that came out almost 50 years ago, and no matter what song I hear off of them, I can still remember what comes next on the album. I can't do that with newer CDs. I listen to them in their entirety a couple of times and then on to shuffle they go.

okay, I am dating myself, but sometimes when I hear songs I know when inside the song it will switch to the next "tract" 8-tracks anyone?

I can remember some albums but not this one. I think it's because I first owned it on 8 track instead of vinyl and I can't remember for this one, but it seemed that few 8 tracks were in the same order as albums.

 Vinyl---the way it should be played!
Re: Eagles Mentions in the Press
Yeah, even if it wasn't a concept album, it still had a structure to it, or seemed like it did, anyway. It just felt right for example, to hear And Your Bird Can Sing after Good Day Sunshine on The Beatles Revolver album.

Pm, I can too. And I do the same thing. Never thought about it, but yeah, it's kinda sad that we won't be able to do that with newer albums (records, cds, downloads?). The times, they are a-changin'!
Va, I'm like you and get tired of having to put on the glasses!
