Yes, that's from 2005 - although I would be ecstatic to see Don and Stevie team up again! Seeing Don and Stevie perform in Chicago in 2005 was what re-introduced me to Eagles fandom.
Oops, sorry, I didn't realize it was an old video. Looks like it was posted Mar, 20011. I don't know why it was in an article from Jan,???:stunned:
Anyway, I had never seen it, so I hope you all enjoy it too!!!
Yep, I was terribly upset that I was forced to watch that again! :lie:

Nice clips.i like it.Thanks a lot for sharing.Keep it up.
I hadn't seen this video until today but I like it. It's TBOS.
I'm trying to figure out who the session guitarists are....

Great video!
The guy doing the solos is John Corey, who played with the Eagles for the Hell Freezes Over tour as well. The other guitarist is Frank Simes, who has backed both Don Henley and Don Felder at various times. The last time I saw Simes, he was playing with Felder - that was 2009.Quote:

I didn't remember that Don ever wore a ponytail!!! Interesting
 Well, Tk, have you not visited Don Henley Online or the https://www.eaglesonlinecentral.com/...ead.php?t=2795 thread? Where you been girl!
Here's a taste of what's in store for you there:

It was a sight to see back in the day! :smokin:
:hilarious:
You know, I really haven't been in Don's photo thread...Ummm, I guess I'm going to have to check it out.
I like him with the ponytail!
From the 1990 Grammy awards:

Thanks for posting that, Whitcap!
I had to laugh when the award was announced, and the song title was written in Japanese. It's a syllabic script, and it reads as "Endo of DA inosensu" (oh, and Don's name is "Don Henrii")
Also slightly disconcerted that Don's hairstyle in that clip is pretty much the same as mine (now)... hmmm.
Wow That was a great video. I forgot that he won the Grammy for "The End of The Innocence" I still say that should have won Survivor, but the tribe didn't agree with me on that one!! Beautiful song
Whenever I go to one link on YouTube I always seem to then spend about an hour gaily wandering through the other links at the side.
Following links from Whitcap's 'The End of the Innocence' at the Grammys I found this. Uninspiring video, but I doubt that there's a 'performance' version of the song.

Apologies if this one has been posted before, but I'm too lazy to go through nearly 500 posts to check. (Nothing shows up if I 'search this forum'.)

Just saw this video come up.
From a recent event:

Here's a 1994 interview with Don, although you can barely hear what he's saying over the music that's been overlaid by the uploader!
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB0bW04RHQw[/ame]
It's not just stuff we've all heard 1000 times, too - and there's some rare 1994 concert footage starting about 9:45 in. I've seen the NKIT part before, but not the Victim of Love snippet.
Thanks so much for finding that, Soda! What a gorgeous man.
That was a really good interview! And, as always, he's gorgeous.
Okay - I won't argue here - Don's gorgeous in that video!!!
Just taking another look... Sigh. Yep. Still delicious. :thud:
Some more video fun! For some reason this song has been stuck in my head.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLONgF8a_Ig[/ame]
That song is very relevant today as we look at another American Tragedy unfold in Colorado.
Also love that interview. Thanks for finding that Soda!
Thanks, Soda. One of my all-time favourite songs. He is so delicious and tender in this performance. :sigh: Lovely way to start my morning!
Sigh.

One of my very favourite Don songs. So thoughtful and thought provoking. So beautifully sung. :inlove:
To the best of my knowledge he only sang it live that one time, at Farm Aid, but how appropriate and how powerful.
This was just posted on Waddy Wachtel's page on Facebook. It's a tribute to the late, great Warren Zevon (of whom I am a huge fan.) Don sings his song 'Searching For A Heart'. The video is just text and images but there's some info on there about which Zevon albums Don appeared on, etc.
Moving.

Thanks for posting that. I actually watched that Letterman show when it aired. Zevon amazed me. The first time I heard "Keep Me in Your Heart for a While" I cried and it still chokes me up.

Don's full Clinton inauguration performance. Wish I knew who the other guitarist was (not Frank Simes). He looks different than the guy in the 90s TBOS video.
Thanks for posting, I had never seen that video
loved it!!!...this was on YouTube?...wow...that other guitarist looks familiar, but have no idea where I've seen him...who knew Don that hell would freeze over not too long after this!
:thumbsup::headbang::headbang::headbang::drool::dr ool: Austin:thumbsup::thumbsup:
thank you so much . enjoyed that and I had never seen it.
you rock my man!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
You are welcome!!
The vid was just uploaded and put on YT in the last couple weeks.
About once a week I go through and do a custom search (going by upload date and using quotation marks to get the exact name) for each of the Eagles (past and present) looking for new videos to share either on my FB or on here and I just stumbled onto that one.
well done,
I enjiyed that little trip down memeory lane.lol
have a great day:thumbsup:tt
Everyone's probably seen this but this was from June - Henley solo show.
