I had a very strange Timothy dream last night...I was at an outdoor concert to see him and was with a girl I used to work with in the nineties and haven't seen since...I don't really remember him singing anything...then he said he would take requests and pointed to me and said "what do you want to hear"...I stammered and stuttered...couldn't get the words out...but finally said I Don't Want to Hear Anymore..but then he never did sing it!...I was up in front and then looked around and everyone was gone but my friend and me...I remember thinking why is everyone gone?...and thought well I'm not leaving yet...some lady was making and selling jewelry at a table up by where he was standing...there really was no stage...I went up to the table pretending to look at the jewelry but really just wanted to get closer to him...and when I got up there and looked at him he had really spikey dyed black really fake looking hair...and I remember thinking...wow I didn't know that's what he looked like up close!...I turned around and all the audience had returned...and then there was a chorus from some high school up in front singing...I really don't remember him singing at all even though we were there to see him...?...then he said he'd take questions from the audience...and I raised my hand and asked him what song of his is his all time favorite to sing...then I said to my friend a few minutes later..."he never answered me did he?"...she said no he didn't...and I remember thinking 'boy this guy is a jerk'...and I also yelled out to him "Early Happy Birthday Timothy" and he didn't respond to that either...some
girl behind me kept talking while he was talking and I got up and went over to her and threatened to hurt her really bad if she didn't shut up while Timothy was talking!...someone asked him what he liked to do when he wasn't working and he said 'well I have a grand child I like to spend time with'...and then I remember him saying "well I've got five more minutes to fill so I guess I'll sing one more song then I'm outa here"...but I don't remember him singing anything...then he just walked off ...I remember telling my friend..."boy was he disappointing, we shouldn't have bothered coming"..."now how are we going to get home?"....that's all I remember...I told you it was strange!
That was so weird Zelda. I hope that NEVER happens!:fear:
Zelda what a sad dream. You know Timothy would never be like that. And spiky black hair? :hilarious: I wish I knew why we dream what we dream.
zelda - from all accounts, Timothy is a sweetheart, not a jerk. So maybe you'll have a better dream next time.
I didn't sleep well last night, I think I was too cold and too lazy to get up and turn the heat on. So I remember my dreams and two of them were Eagles related!
In the first, I was at a bar (imagine that) with people I've never seen before, but I knew them in the dream. Next thing I know, Glenn walks by and once he saw me, he said he wanted to buy me a drink. He asked 'what my poison' was and I said something about recently making the trip along the Bourbon Trail. So he walked away and a waitress shows up later with a 'personal decanter' of bourbon. It said it was Makers Mark, but that wasn't what was in it. I don't know what was in it, it was very smooth. It was roughly the equivalent of 12 oz. Eight to twelve shots, depending on who's pouring. I didn't want to offend Glenn by not drinking it all, especially as it had to have cost a good bit of money since it was some sort of single barrel bourbon. So I spent the evening going to people I knew and even people I didn't, offering sips of it. I did wonder what he'd been thinking to buy me so much. I haven't done 12 shots of bourbon since my 20's and I honestly don't remember the consequences of it.
After a few boring dreams, I then found myself in a dream where I was at the Verizon Center in DC, and it was the first show of the Eagles Anniversary/Retrospective tour, and Glenn was at the mic and he said that DC was kind of where it all started for them, and he talked about Jackson Browne's show at The Cellar Door where they'd taken to the stage for a few songs, and how nice it was of Jackson to give them that opportunity. Then out came Jackson! He sang the first verse to Take It Easy and Glenn sang the second. It was so real I was disappointed when I woke up.
As interesting as these dreams were, tonight I'll make sure before I go to bed that The Heat is On. Sorry...couldn't resist that...
Wow VA,
I knew our Glenn was a "class guy". See not all tight jeaned cowboy botted guys are bad.
That first one was so hot I dont think you needed the "heat on" anyway.
