Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
How many times, Verna! Never look after anyone else's bags, even if they are a smokin' hot, super famous guitar player... ;)
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
VA, that was pretty funny. Wonder what Glenn would say if he caught you drinking his booze?
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Yeah - I agree, Brooke ... what a lush!!! It's a good think she woke up cause Glenn probably would've been POed when he found out she had drank most of his 'courage'.

VA I liked your dream, I kept waiting for Glenn to come back for his bag. Though he might not like how his bottle mysteriously went down. :nahnah:

I was at the golf course a few miles from my house (Robert Trent Jones). That right there is weird because I don't golf, but I was walking the course and there were people around, but not in groups. Everyone was walking apart from each other, maybe twenty or so people. Then I see a man with a club in his hands, his bag beside him, and he's looking around at the people, then he glances at his watch in annoyance. I realize it's Glenn and I'm trying to get my knees to hold me up. He looks up and sees me and seems to either recognize me or just pick me at random, but he waves me over to him.
"I need to check on a few things. Will you stay here and watch my bag?"
I say, "Sure."
"I'll be back soon."
There are no carts around and he takes off and the people standing around follow him. Soon I'm in the middle of this beautiful grassy area by myself with his bag. It's hot out and there are trees off to the side, so I pick up his bag and begin to walk to one. His bag is incredibly heavy and once I get in the shade, I look down in it to see what could possibly be in there besides clubs. I see a fifth of Jack Daniels. It's been opened but mostly full. For some odd reason I take the top off and sip at it, straight. I sit in the shade, watching birds, sipping and sipping. The bottle was halfway empty when I passed out in the dream, and that was the end of the dream!
I woke soon after and I felt hungover and I swore I smelled bourbon! The bourbon is buried in the back of the cabinet, so I'm fairly certain I didn't sleepwalk and actually drink any. All I can think is that I have some co-workers in Kentucky this week who are thinking of hitting the Bourbon Trail, so maybe that's why I dreamed about Jack Daniels.
Wow, absolutely shameful. I would never think of nicking a sip or two of an alcoholic beverage of Glenn's that he'd left behind.... :lie:
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
I had a brief dream last night....I was with my best friend from high school (actually I haven't talked to this girl in over twenty years...I digress)...She told me about a concert she was going to and asked me if I was going...I said what concert?...Glenn Frey is playing the county fair...I said omg I didn't know that...so I walked up and bought the very last ticket they had...cost $19.50!...and I bought a program..I remember thinking.."oh the Glenn girls are going to want to see this!"....that's all I remember!
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Wow, Z, Glenn at a fair and tix for less than $20? You must have been drinking something before going to sleep!
Speaking of drinking, I'm reading some of the responses above for the first time... Soda, if I'd stopped at a few sips, I'd have been OK! Jack and I aren't the good friends the Captain and I are. Jack always tells me he's a good friend, but he's a bit vicious the next day. Sometimes even the whole next week! Even in a dream he was vicious the next day!
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
yeah which is weirder?..Glenn at a county fair or a ticket for $19.50?!

Both are equally unlikely but I will happily go to your fair ::yay:
HMMMM... just think of how many solo shows I could go too for 20 dollars a piece:thud:
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Strangely, I had a dream last night......that mostly featured my little (great) niece aged 3....I don't remember very much about it - but Glenn made an appearance - which is strange 'cos i'm a Don girl!:?
