The thing about Joe is, when it's time for him to do a song the audience roars it's applause.
They know Joe is about to make things lively. Also, he has such an iconic rock history and
he's such an awesome guitarist, he really gets respect for all of that.

I just wanted to say I listened to Snake Farm by Ray Wylie Hubbard and I LOVE IT! I down loaded the entire CD to my 'pod and I even listened to it this morning in the shower BEFORE I listened to the guys. He's not listed in the credits anywhere but I SWEAR the guitar work on "Wild Gods Of Mexico" sound just like Joe! His style is pretty distinctive!
If anyone forgot, Ray Wylie Hubbard is the artist Joe said he liked to listen to in the live chat.
If y'all like down and dirty mississsippi blues (like me.. Muddy Waters fan from Wayyyyy back) you'll love this stuff.

Ok, so Im doing my typical saturday night obsession thing and googling Joe on the internet (and searching for new pictures of him too!) and I found this old Blog entry from 2007 by a guy named Dave. He's a photographer who did an article for CQ Magazine in 2002 and took a series of photos at Joe's "bachelor pad" in LA just above studio city. Dave said Joe was orginally wearing a dirty old white T-shirt (thats my laid back guy *grin*) and he asked him to change into a black sweater for this shot as Dave wanted this to be the cover, but the editor chose another picture (same black sweater tho)

Last but not least (I really hope this isnt too invasive and stalker-like...) There was one more picture of Joe's livingroom and on the mantle of the fireplace was a picture of his now ex-wife Denise and his two sons, Alden and Emerson (I assume it's them and not nephews or cousins or something). I just thought the boys were so cute, they deserved to be seen.

I love the photos. It's somehow very endearing that a photographer had to ask him to change into something clean. That's our "dirty boy"!:inlove:
*sigh* yes, Im affraid we will need two maids. I dont wear dirty clothes (well unless Im gardening) but I am a slob Im affraid. *grin* I love how down to earth and at ease he is in these pics.

Wow ticky - Thanks for all these wonderful pics of Joe. They are great. As far as the picture of Joe's sons, I also think it could be Lucy in there with them. In all the pictures I've seen, Denise was not a blonde - but, of course, there is always the miracle of chemical hair color. :wink:
