First, I want to say I'm so happy you finally got to see the doc, FP and I want to thank you for your heart felt and honest opinion. A few things we agree on with it and a couple we didn't, which we already knew but I love the fact that you were honest and respectful about it.

This made me giggle!!

I agree completely here. He did somethings right and without him, there's a whole lot of music we may have missed out on.

He had to do his job and support his artists, but he didn't come off as an a**hole at all in the interviews. I also like how well he took Don's "he's our Satan" comment. Too funny. It shows the kind of relationship they have; I think there's a huge mutual respect there.
I never touched on this earlier but I also agree. The opinion I've had of him for years is what an *ss!!! He may still be Satan but I understand why a little better than I did before the doc. And I think his sense of humor was something I wasn't really aware of till this. That is something that I love in people. Makes them more human to me.
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
And let's not forget the best thing about Irving-----he's from my hometown! :hilarious:
Okay, don't throw things! :hilarious:
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
LOL Cathy - then I like him even more! ;)
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
I am going to make a statement that I think we can ALL agree with - Irving looks a million times better now than he did in some of those '70s photos!!!
Re: Discussion of Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
Yes, and he dresses a heck of a lot better too. That hideous brown coat... YIKES.
