Ditto, DD!
Love this DD! I love this song and this is a great version of it.
Thanks for posting the link, DivineDon.
Everything Is Different Now is my favourite track from inside job, partly due this live SNL performance.
Here's Don and Stevie singing Gold Dust Woman

It hasn't had many views but as Stevie says "That was fun"
I saw another video of this a while back, but this is the best quality of this video. I think I wanted to be Stevie and dance with Don. Don was having fun at the end jumping up.
Yep - Here's the link for your viewing and listening pleasure ...

Thanks for that link AG and Dreamer....there's nothing like a really cute jacketed Don to start my day off well
I was looking on Youtube for any videos I haven't seen before. I found this video of Don on The Tonight with Jay back in 2000. Here's Everything Is Different Now.

Here's hoping we will see Don on the talk show and late night show circuits soon.
For those who missed the CBS Sunday morning interview this morning, here's the video.

I saw it, accidentally, and thought it was a great interview!
I also thought he sounded like there will probably be more touring for the next couple years. Unless Glenn calls it quits. Sounded more likely to me!
Don was Ellen this afternoon. Here's a clip of Take a Picture of This. He also sang the first verse and chorus of The Boys Of Summer at the end of the show.
If you watched this afternoon, they did cut into Don's appearance with a special report. I feel bad for Don. That's two appearance where his part was interrupted by a special report.

I was wondering if Don would change The Boys Of Summer to make it more like the Cass County material but Don's band played it in all it's 80's synth glory
Thanks for the links shun
Thanks Shun! I'm glad that BOS hasn't undergone a change. I can't imagine it sounding country.
Actually Don did change BOS before. When he did Storytellers back in 2000, he changed it and made it more country. Well more acoustic like. It sounded good. I'm surprise he's not using that version. I guess we will never see that version ever again. EOI was made more acoustic too. I would had loved if Don brought back to the acoustic version of The Heart Of The Matter. I love that version.
Ah, I didn't know about Don doing Storytellers.
Don did an interview on WCBS3 in Phoenix tonight. I'm still looking for the whole interivew. It hasn't popped up yet, but the journalist posted a few clips on his twitter page.

Thanks for keeping us up to date on all these interviews!
You're welcome, Soda.
Also. I tweeted Morgan Loew to see if his interview with Don will be on their website. He told me he will post his interview on YouTube tomorrow. So I'm looking forward to that. I wonder how long that interview will be. The one that was shown on their newscast was almost 2 minutes.
Mr. Morgan Loew from CBS5 in Phoenix just tweeted me back the link to his interview he did with Don last week. Its a little over 19 minutes. Enjoy!!!

Great!
Here's the extended interview from Studio 10.

Interesting. It sounds like, subject to record sales, he's expecting to tour in the US, Europe and Australia next year. Also that he's serious about writing his autobiography (and he's going to do it himself, without help, naturally).
I was looking at Don and his eyes are soo blue in this video. Its a great video. I really hope Don has more dates in the US next year so I can finally see him. I hope the people in Europe get to see him too.
This was a great interview. He got more in depth with the stories he has already said.
Well congrats to his eldest daughter(I forgot her name. Was it Brittany) getting married on New Year's Eve. I wouldn't be surprise if Don will be a grandfather in the next year or two.
Don also confirmed that he wears make-up on stage. Not surprising, but I wonder at what point he started wearing make-up. Possibly when the cameras and big screens came in.
All performers wear make up on stage so the lights won't make them look washed out. So this is not really unusual for Don to say he wears make up on stage. He's probably been wearing makeup (probably powder) since 70s maybe the 80s. You also have to remember he said in an interview that Annabel is traveling with him to do his makeup. I thought I heard hair too, but definitely his makeup.
Ah, I remember that about his daughter being his make-up artist. It's just that I can't imagine the guys from the 70s, who deliberately wore regular clothes on stage, bothering with makeup. It probably came in with the 80s and music videos.
Found this on YouTube. This is from the Forum. Clips of Seven Bridges Road, a little of The End Of The Innocence(interesting start of the song) and all of Dirty Laundry.

Don looks and sounds amazing!
I agree, Soda. Don is looking good and sounding great. Its cool to hear some of the new songs.
I'm very impressed with Don's backup singers. Those ladies have great voices.
I don't know if anybody know this, but the lady who singing with Don on Words Could Break Your Heart. Her father is Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers.
Again, thanks for the links shunlvswx.
I agree that Don's backing singers have great voices but they are so young, I've got to admit that I felt uncomfortable, watching them share the vocals with Don.
I suppose I may have felt the same seeing black and white guys sharing a vocal in the early sixties. I'm not sure if I'd have felt this discomfort in the 70s or 80s, it could be an intolerance of the modern age. I hope I Get Over It.
I didn't like watching the backing singers upfront with Don either. Its probably because they are so young compared to him but I didn't like the way the first one kept looking at him when he was singing (Words can break your heart). He was lost in the song, with his eyes closed and she was staring at him like a love-sick puppy  She certainly has a lot of confidence! !
Saying that, Don sounded brilliant and I can only hope that he continues his tour next year, especially on this side of the pond
Hmmmm, I'd definitely be a love-sick puppy if I was satnding beside Don....and I'd probably be drooling at the mouth too!!! :hilarious:
I would be too. I don't know how they ever sang when you that close to Don. LOL
