It's Glenn & it was Soda was the one who posted the YouTube video! How cool is that!

Wow doesn't sound Glenn to me, thought it was Bernie...most cause of the hair comment lol.
He doesn't know it was me. I was going under the moniker "embattledillusions." This was back in 2006/2007 when there were very few Eagles videos on YouTube - I was the first and only one to upload that to YouTube at the time (it was also on GFO). Nowadays, there are tons of videos, but back then they were few and far between. YouTube was only a year or two old then.
The ironic thing is that the video was eventually taken down - my account was deleted because of multiple terms of service violations (that was what the notification I received said). I had uploaded quite a few videos at that time. I would never do so again, because I was so discouraged at having those uploads removed. When I later learned that one of the taken-down videos inspired the Eagles to record "How Long" for LROOE, I felt much better, lol. I actually squeed with delight. Little, insignificant me! Still, I never uploaded so many videos to one account again.
I guess they lucked out that the hammer came down on me after Glenn had spotted the video! Unfortunately, Don Henley has never taken that into consideration when attacking YouTube, but ah well.
While Glenn will never know, I did tell JD Souther and gave him a copy of the source video back in 2009. He thanked me with a big grin, lol.
way cool Soda
Well, I was kind of saying that tongue-in-cheek, that he didn't mention you in the doc, but are you saying that Glenn would know who 'sodascouts' is? Cool!
And thank goodness at least JD knows who put that video on YouTube!
Oh, and I know you used "embattledillusions" because you're such a huge JB fan, right? :inlove: ;-)
Oh gosh, I didn't mean to imply that Glenn would recognize the name "sodascouts"! In the few times I've talked to him, I've never said a word about things like that. He knows me as "Nancy, one of the Pebble Beach girls" lol. I meant that I didn't upload it as GlennFreyOnline. And honestly, no one cares who uploaded it outside of this circle, lol.
I called myself "embattledillusions" because the very first video I uploaded back in 2006 was Jackson Browne and the Eagles performing "Looking Into You" from the 1974 Kirshner show.
Speaking for myself, I know I am delighted that Soda uploaded that video & Glenn's kids found it. I love the way the Eagles sing it! And the story that Glenn tells about it is so cool!! :yay::yay::yay: Soda!!!
