Back a minute to the college journalist's article that DF posted and TBF already quoted:

That's what I'm talking about. That's the feeling I got when I heard Hotel California live, and that's why it's my favorite live song.

I also had to smile to myself that this particular fan would consider himself very lucky that the Eagles aren't doing BBF anymore!

Do not ask me how I stumbled upon this one because I'm really not sure! Interesting to say the least. I wonder if these quotes are for real or not? Thoughts please?

I think I've heard some of the quotes before, and I believe they are indeed legit... but Joe's stories are often made up, so I guess it is "legit" only in the sense that it came from his mouth. lol

Thanks for finding that FFL. I guess I've never looked at the whole exclusive album deal that way. It makes sense, though.

If Guns and Roses, who has been non existant for the last decade can sell a million through a deal like that then, yes it is evidently the way to go anymore if the music industry has any way of even coming close to what record sales were like before internet piracy and IMO lack of promotion by record companies for bands that are more than two yrs old.
