Not that I'm jealous or anything
I'd be like a love-sick puppy in the audience, never mind standing beside him !!

Let me agree with what everyone has said. Don looks great and sounds great.
I'd probably be trembling if I was standing that close to Don.
Given that Don's Words can break your heart featuring Trisha Yearwood is his new single, I thought it might be nice to have a look at this again. Don looking and sounding really good :heart::heart:

With Lara Johnston singing a verse of Words Can Break Your Heart, it would be nice if Trisha sang a verse instead of coming in at different parts of the song.
I love Walkaway Away. Don looked soo hot in this video and his voice was amazing. His voice doesn't stick out in the song, but you know he's there singing.
Yeah - I kinda agree. It is a bit surprising that Don is using such young singers in his show. It does seem like it would work better to have them a little older. Maybe he chose them because they were struggling musicians whose careers need a boost. However, there must be some older singers who fit that bill too.
I think maybe Will chose them. He's Don's musical director, and a while ago he was asked what that involved and he said "Don tells me what he wants to do, and I arrange it". Also, the young ladies are all graduates of USC Thornton School of Music, which is where Will lectures . I guess Don would be able to reject them if he'd wanted, and tell Will to find some different ones.
Personally, I liked their voices, so I wasn't bothered about their youth. I thought they all sounded great in the duets. I do see what you mean about them being much younger than Don, and maybe you're thinking that makes the 'romantic' aspect of the songs less believable.
The three back up singers look even younger than they might be with their dress. They look like grown up girls in little girls dresses. I'm sure they were picked because of their talent rather than their looks though.
Steph, love your sig! Too cute!
I just found this on Youtube.
Here's Bramble Rose, IT Don't Matter to the Sun, Too Much Pride and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. I think this is from the Forum. I think that was the only show he wore a jacket.

Thank you for posting all of these great tour videos, Shun.
He looks fantastic in the jacket!
Excellent
Fantastic quality!
Here's a better version of Don's interview.

Did any of you notice the "oops" look Don gave during the 2nd verse of Bramble Rose? Looks like he might have made a mistake.
I saw this on facebook. Don was in Nashville tonight to honor Jim Ed Norman.
You can hear Don's speech and Don singing Desperado at this link.

Dreamer mentioned this song on the Henley Heaven page and as there is no video, this was the best one I could find. Its Don and Kermit singing 'Its not easy being green' in honour of St Patrick's Day

This is some old footage (from the Inside Job era) but posted on YouTube relatively recently. I hadn't seen it before and really enjoyed it. Kinda nice to see Don in a setting he loves so much.

Oh wow! Thanks so much, FWIW. I've never seen this before either. I just listened to the first half and now I'm going to listen to the rest. So far, I love it and Don looks great in it!
It would be great if someone could get some screenshots of this and post them. I don't have time because I have family coming over for dinner.
I've taken a few screenshots. I'll post them I'm the photo thread in a few minutes.
I found this video of Chris Holt's(Don's new guitarist) song I'm Wasted. I think I remembered he saying in an interview that Don sang on his album. With me being at work, I can't turn the volume up that much, but it sounds good.

Thanks for posting this video, Shun. I love the song. Chris and Don harmonize so beautifully.

Love this video of TLR... The year's wrong - it's from '00.
I'm gonna post a video of me playing the rhythm to this song in a couple days in a newer yet fun way. Based around the Open G/Keith Richards theme that fits. I love the horns in this one.
Loved that video. Check out the elderly lady with the camera, absolutely thrilled to be there with Don. She shows up at about 43 seconds in, standing right above the yellow banner, then she's there again, camera at the ready, at 1:43. Then, at 4:14, Don's wrapping it up and she's cheering wildly (cream blouse, black sweater, white hair.) You go girl! Sheer joy! :yay:
Thanks, Austin! Can't wait to see your video! :-D
That's a great video. I'm not sure I've ever seen it before. Don looks like he is having a blast!
I like to think musicians notice and appreciate the passion of their fans especially in an intimate venue like this where they are performing before people they can actually see and hear (vs stadiums, huge outdoor concerts, etc)
Great video thanks for sharing - I really enjoyed it! :rockguitar:
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it ;-)
I was listening to Spotify today for the first time in a while and saw that 'The concert for Walden Woods' from 1993 was available on it. Don sings an incredible version of 'The Last Resort' on it. It's the first time I heard it sung anywhere apart from the MTV HFO concert. Would love if he sang that on his upcoming tour.... this proved that it is possible
If you have Spotify, its worth checking it out
Do you have a Spotify Web Player link to this song? Or are you using the computer/mobile app? I'm using the Web Player and I can't find it. I searched for "Don Henley" and looked through his Spotify page. I also searched the term Walden Woods and The Last Resort.
On another note, I sort of remember that there was a Don Henley live concert bootleg on Spotify. It's not there anymore though. I don't remember what it was called.
This came up on my FB page again today.
Don - looks - so - GORGEOUS!!!!

Thanks for sharing, DD! He is absolutely stunning in that video. OMG! 😍❤️😘
Reminds me of his performance at Farm Aid in '90.
Don Henley United FB page posted this - Don's isolated vocals on HC - so good!!! :)
