What's wrong with older guys wearing shorts in hot weather? I live in a seaside town & during the summer men(and women) of all ages wear shorts. Is it just that you think it inappropriate for a concert? If so, I might agree with you, unless it was an open air concert.

It was only a fantasy suggestion, and I was mainly thinking about seeing Will in shorts(and he's a lot younger!)

Y'all know I love them in the suits. I will be very happy if they wear the suits the first half of the show and change into casual clothes for the second half--but NO plaid! :wink:
However, Will and Scott would look perfectly wonderful in shorts. 8)

I could really care less what they wear as long as they're on the stage and I'm in the audience. lol

Great attitude Maleah! I feel the same! And those boys (particularly Glenn :heart: ) look great in anything (even Plaid :wink: )

I understand what you are saying. In Australia most men wear shorts during the summer, but as you also said, I think shorts are inappropriate to be worn during a concert. I think if you want to see bare legs, there's always Angus Young!

I would be happy to see Glenn back in jeans & T shirt, but he'll never ditch the overshirt. I don't know why he's so committed to this look. I prefer it when he wears a shirt under a jacket and the shirt is done up, unlike at Stagecoach. :?

Hmmmmm, 60 year old rock stars in shorts. I just can't see it myself.

Maybe if it were a very casual outdoor concert, but I don't think I've ever seen pictures of them wearing shorts at a concert. Even from the 70's when they were young! Jimmy Buffet can get away with it because he's always done it.

No doubt about it, they all look good in the suits, but they are a little boring after a concert or two. They look like they are playing for a wedding or corporate gig. And I would think that they would think the same thing. And they can't be comfortable. If they are going to play for 2-3 hours I would think they would want to be somewhat comfortable. Like jeans and t-shirts. :D

My favorite concert outfit for the guys - jeans and button-ups that have a few buttons undone (Glenn's Long Run look). Ah, so nice. I believe they wear the T-shirt/overshirt because they feel they look good in them - and they do - but I love to see some chest.

Open shirts and slacks are also fine as long as they are well-fitted and not too loose.

Jeans and a casual shirt work as well; when Glenn wore that at Niagara Falls, we about fell over he looked so good.

In the suits, they look handsome... but it ages them.

:lol: You know me so well, Steph! :wink: Yes, I admit, I would like to see Glenn's :heart: legs (I do so enjoy that waking up scene in "South Of Sunset", where there is plenty of leg on display :twisted: ), but I'm not sure that shorts would work on stage! :nope:

I'm with Maleah here. So far, I haven't seen the Eagles in any attire that offends me, so I'm quite happy with anything they wear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the guys look extremely handsome in their suits, and I can't get enough of men looking so smart, particularly when they wear it so well. When the jackets come off, it's just plain sexy to see those white shirts clinging to the still shapely, hot bodies :drool: :blush:... OOOH!

Like Soda, I like to see chest too. :blush: I noticed that Glenn :heart: was particularly buttoned up at Stagecoach. Why, Sugar? Was it that cold? :wink: (well, that could explain Don's arm warmers... :lol:)

I just found some photos of Timothy and Joe (and Irving) at the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards on Febuary 7 2008. Tim and Joe presented Irving with the award for Personal Manager of the Year.
