I must say, after watching the DVD I have even more of a soft spot for Joe. The '70s is my favourite era but I am thrilled to see him so happy and healthy. Love this beautiful smile! I have a feeling one or two of my fellow Borderers will enjoy these, too...

I love what he says about life: at times it's seems like all of these random things are just happening to you, being thrown at you for no reason, and it gets overwhelming... and then, when you look back over your life, it reads like a finely crafted novel. So, so true. It makes me a bit emotional, but I love it because it's comforting and suggests that there's some kind of deeper meaning to everything that happens to us, good and bad. He has real wisdom when he speaks; I guess it comes from living such a tumultuous life. He has been to depths that most of us will thankfully never reach, and he has come back better, stronger and happier than ever. Truly inspiring.
He is an inspiring man for sure. He is super amazing and I have a weak spot for him as well. Love him!!!! He looks so incredible in those caps Lou!!! Thank you for posting those.
