I think its pretty neat looking even if they did give it a face lift I am sure.
Funny, my gf's mom had a house she renovated and had no idea that there were drawings and writings on the basement walls from dr suess
wonder if there are any cool things like that lying around there now....:eyebrow:
ah thanks for moving my post here..didn't realize it had been posted :)
but yeah it would be pretty cool to live there and try to find leftover history...though it certainly looks like it's been renovated...so i wouldn't hold my breath to find any remnants.
I do remember hearing that it was $90 ...and i thought that was for everything including Jackson's apt, and Jackson only paid $35.
so JD and Glenn lived in a one bedroom?? I guess someone slept in the living room maybe
and yep...1500 is pretty standard rent for cities like LA and NYC...though that's even on the cheap side nowadays! my friends who were moving said the rents in my neighborhood were all over $2000 now!
"the rent is too damn high!" haha
that Ivy covered doorway definitely looks familiar :)
Yeah, I was talking to someone who knew them back then, and she said Glenn slept on the couch while JD got the bed typically, but there was some flexibility in that arrangement.
I think $1500 a month is a bargain!
If I lived there I'd definitely try to find a way to rent it! How cool would that be?! I'm sure you would have some sweet dreams there!
Well, no. You can get a nice three bedroom apartment in Tennessee for less than $1200 a month. However, it sure doesn't have a view / neighborhood like that - or, more importantly, HISTORY like that!
ah okay!
but right EXACTLY! I'm surprised they're charging so little!
Yep, if those walls could talk......
