The picture quality isn't there but you can hear him do "Take it Easy" pretty well.

Two REALLY good quality videos of Don:
Already Gone
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmwnXjl4C5E[/ame]
One Of These Nights
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjLBf_HQXc0[/ame]
I prefer Don singing Glenn songs than Henley songs. I loved the Already Gone video both guitar and vocals. The One Of These Nights wasn't as good IMO. But the guitar playing in it is great. I just prefer Felder singing songs in Glenn's range rather than trying to play those high Henley songs. That said, I really wish he'd come to Illinois so I could see one of his shows. He's a guitar god and I really admire him.

I really need to get to a Felder show.... He's still playing great as ever!
Thanks for posting that, Austin, although I much prefer him on songs he had a hand in, like Already Gone.
You know, it would be interesting to hear him do Visions live - wonder why he doesn't? Yeah, it's dated - and yeah, it's not the best song ever - but it's his only lead with the Eagles and it's certainly not terrible. It seems odd to omit it, yet do Take It Easy and PEF. I bet if he messed around with it a bit, he could make it sound less dated. It would be fun for the audience to hear such a rarity. As far as I know, it's never been performed live.
At any rate, I know you would enjoy his live show - and I hope you get to see him one day.
Yeah Visions would be a good one.
And I know I would be different than most but I would just go to hear him play. He's a blast to watch even though he's no Glenn Frey or Don Henley vocally - I just want to see and hear him play up close and all of that. I never got the pleasure of seeing him and Joe play together in the Eagles - something I really wish I could have seen.
I also like his version of Already Gone a lot - probably my favorite of the songs he does singing-wise.
Speaking of Felder videos, going through some old Google alerts, I found this:
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxZznjxHTCk[/ame]
In this very technical video, Felder tests out two different microphones to see which he likes best:
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8KHYU77tEw&feature=player_embedded&noredi rect=1[/ame]
Nice! Really liked the mic demo.
Also, I just googled "Google Alerts" and signed up for them. I've been wondering what people mean when they talk about them and finally figured it out. I'm not good with it though. Like for instance, there is the politician Joe Walsh and the musician Joe Walsh. How do I only select the Joe I want? LOL. I care nothing about the former. :D
You can add additional keywords, "joe walsh" and "eagles" as opposed to just "Joe Walsh." They're great! Unfortunately, I don't have time to check them as much as I should. The more members that sign up for them and report the results on The Border, the better!
Ah ok! Makes sense now. I didn't realize you could do multiple quotes. I put one in for each band member as well as some guitar-related ones.
I'm hoping there might be an interview with Don coming up soon because this week is the NAMM show which is like the music products announcement convention and so artists show up for interviews, signings, try out products, etc. Felder was there last year and did an interview with Gibson which was cool. I hope they'll do it again but I think the only reason they did it last year because they came out with those two signature guitars for Don. I wish it was open to public so I could go because I'd go in a heartbeat but it is only for dealers, companies (product makers), and signed artists.
A couple cool videos I stumbled upon. Nothing too major but still worth posting.

That was a great interview with Don. He looks fantastic too!
Thanks for posting!
That was an enjoyable interview. Thanks Austin.
You're welcome! :)

Don showing how to play Hotel Cali.
Oh...no problem Don...looks easy!:rockguitar::lie:
It really is fascinating listening to him talk about the different parts, and keys and all this stuff I never think of... and love hearing each of his and Joe's parts separately...really cool...can't imagine writing something like that...genius...makes me wish I could play the guitar!
ok....probably a stupid question...but ...in the first part of this video there is what looks like some sort of a clamp thing on the guitar neck...what is that?....
Another video interview:

Soda,Thanks For posting that interview. That girl looks like she was about to jump Felders bones! Ya think she was a little excited???
Don looks fabulous too!
A short clip from the KLOS soundcheck last night... Luke and Don playing Life In The Fast Lane :-) Too bad the video stops when they are starting the play the interesting guitar part.

Speaking of the KLOS show, here is Don doing HC with Luke playing the ending triads with him! Very cool.
Don does a pretty nice vocal on this HC, & his guitar work is spot on , as usual. His back up band does a pretty good job on the music, but the one thing I am seriously missing here is the BACK UP HARMONY VOCALS!!! Did any of those guys even open their mouth?????? :band:
Aside from that....great job, Felder...Still adore him!
Who is Luke???
You guessed right, FP... almost everyone calls him Luke. He was VERY happy to do Joe's part at the end of the song. :rockguitar:
I liked the video as it was. I think it's a good thing Felder still plays it. He really does shine on it. But of course, it'd be even "shinier" if Joe was beside him in concert. That said, Steve Lukather did an amazing job and is a great guitarist. Really funny guy too - much like Joe.

Awesome video Walshfan. I like the Tommy Shaw one and lol the messed up title. the box of rock on was pretty cool too. It reminded me of the Documentary. People popping out of road boxes :hilarious:
